TARLAC CITY — The Office of Tarlac 2nd District Rep. Victor Yap donated personal protective equipment, surgical masks, face shields, and alcohol to different private hospitals and rural health units in the province.
“This is to support our health workers amidst the province’s fight against the coronavirus disease,” Yap said.
The former governor and now Tarlac representative has donated a total of 200 sets of PPEs, 1,000 pieces of surgical masks, 500 pieces of face shields, and 20 carbon alcohol containers.
“Amid the shortage of these essential medical supplies in some areas, the province of Tarlac is with high hopes that we will all be protected and eventually defeat this public health crisis,” Yap said.
Yap acknowledged the selfless service rendered by the frontline workers: “Salute to all our frontliners, they are our fearless and modern heroes, who selflessly dedicate their hard work to continuously provide basic services our country and province needs.”
