TARLAC CITY – The provincial government of Tarlac provided financial aid to its 511 barangays and their tanods as they remain in the frontline in the battle against the coronavirus disease.
Each barangay got P20,000 while each tanod got P500.
“I know that this small amount would be of big help to your barangays and constituents. To our barangay tanods who work tirelessly in ensuring the safety of their respective barangays, this is our help for your family,” Gov. Susan Yap said.
The governor also asked for the cooperation of the barangay officials and tanods in combating Covid-19.
As of April 3, Tarlac has 19 confirmed Covid-19 cases
