BALANGA CITY — The Department of Health on Saturday announced the second patient in Bataan with positive case of Covid–19.
This was confirmed by provincial health officer Dr. Rosanna Buccahan who is also vice chair of the Bataan Inter–agency Task Force on Covid–19.
Gov. Albert Garcia is chair of the task force.
As per DOH nCOV tracker, the new case, PH303, 24 years old, male, is confined at the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center, a government hospital in Balanga City.
Buccahan said PH303 was a dormitory roommate in Manila of PH64, the first Covid–9 case in Bataan.
PH64 is a Manila university professor who has been confined at the Bataan St. Joseph Hospital, a private hospital in Balanga City, since March 13, 2020.
Both are residents of Bataan but working in Manila.
Garcia has said that the health condition of PH64 was fast improving while those he had come in contact with including members of his family were placed under quarantine.
