Frontliners get more aid from Capitol

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO More assistance is coming the frontliners way from Pampanga Gov. Dennis Delta Pineda for their safety and security in the fight against Covid-19 here.

Pineda has ordered provincial administrator Atty. Charlie Chua, the General Services Office, and the Provincial Manpower Training Center to mobilize the provision of critically-needed protective gears and resources for the health and security workers across the province.

 “Our governor wants to make sure the safety of our cabalens would be put first, especially our frontliners and workers,” Chua said.  

Protective partitions and cubicles to serve as boarders of medical workers from consulting patients are now being produced and distributed across the 11 district hospitals, reported Chua.

Provincial Manpower Training Center workers assemble electric fans to be distributed to the different district hospitals.


Francis Maslog, GSO and PMTC head, meanwhile disclosed that they’ve started to distribute additional electric fans i
n the district hospitals since Friday.

He added that mass production of improvised face shields and masks for the frontline workers are also ongoing to help ease the supply shortage.

Washable face masks and protective goggles were also given to Capitol employees here throughout the week.

 Chua said such control measures were observed to assure workers safety, being one of the Capitols utmost priorities.
