ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin suspended work and classes in both public and private schools starting noon today, March 10 until March 13, Friday.
Office of the Mayor Memorandum 468 Series of 2020dated March 9 but disclosed only today said the suspension of classes is in line with the citywide disinfection of schools scheduled March 12 – 13, and as part of the city’s preventive measures against Covid-19.
Lazatin further encouraged the private schools “to carry out their own disinfection of school facilities and to install sanitary stations in strategic locations within school premises.”
