GMA-7 actress Kris Bernal gets busy creating new formula for her upcoming make-up products.
After her afternoon drama series “Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko” has ended, Kris has time to create new formulas for her make-up brand, SHE Cosmetics.
“I’ve been busy with producing the new formula of SHE Cosmetics because I’ll be releasing new products.”
She added, “Ayoko masyado mag-share, but it’s a first in the Philippine cosmetic market. And, of course, it’s made in Korea and it’s a collaboration with a Korean brand.”
Kris plans to release her new products after she sells out her first liquid lipstick collection.
“The newest product is quite a big investment. I think it’s one project at a time. Yung lipsticks ko, marami na rin nag-sold out, konti na lang e.
“Siguro by Christmas, baka maubos na rin siya in time for my newest product.”
She continued, “I guess it’s okay to do it one at a time para I can focus on one product.”
Kris was tight-lipped when asked which company she teamed up with, but revealed that she is grateful for the collaboration.
She said, “I’m just getting the opportunities na lumalapit sa akin. I’m just happy na merong mga brands na gusto makipag-collaborate, na international brands.
“Super excited ako kasi kung paano ko tinutukan yung lip sticks ko, ganun din ako nag-focus dito sa bagong product. Since ang ganda-ganda nung feedback sa lipsticks ko, ito, I’m sure maganda din.”
She still has a lot to improve on when it comes to her products.
This was also the reason why she started becoming open to possible business partners.
“I still can’t say na it’s big because I’m still the only one handling, e. I mean, I don’t have my office yet. I don’t have my people yet. It’s just all me talaga so hindi ko masabing bigger siya.”
The Starstruck alumna, however, is grateful to see her brand growing slowly since its launch in December 2018.
“May growth talaga siya pero kapag pinabayaan ko medyo, parang siyempre, since walang naghahandle, may mga times na bumababa, may mga times na mataas.
“Pero at least, in the end, tumataas siya, it’s still growing. I have a bigger dream for SHE. I really want it to be a full cosmetics brand.”

The first week after her husband’s cremation went by quickly, and was spent with her kids and grandkids.
Early today, November 4, she had a “beautiful afternoon” with Gretchen, Claudine, and other relatives at the Powerplant Mall in Makati City.
On November 3, she had a “Sunday lunch” with Marjorie and Connie, the wife of her son Mito.
Mommy Inday (as she is called in showbiz) also watched her grandchildren Julia and Claudia sing on ASAP Natin ‘To.
The other day, she was with son Jay-Jay Barretto, who wrote in one of his Instagram posts, “We will always have your back mom,we will always love and respect you.”
The Barretto matriarch also allotted some bonding time with her granddaughter Dani and great-granddaughter Camilla Marguerite on October 26.
Dani’s caption for this photo was: “Four generations.”
Marjorie posted the same photo and wrote, “There are good days, and there are bad days… yesterday was good. Thank you Lord.”
Though her children are divided, all of them have been making time for Mommy Inday in this time of “numbing sorrow.”
