Clark Unity Games reopens with Miss CUG 2019

    CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark Human Resources Council (CHRC) has relaunched the Clark Unity Games (CUG) at the Event Center of SM City Clark here on Friday.

    Some 14 companies joined this year’s event which held its previous unity games in 2015.

    CUG is a sportsfest organized by the CHRC for locators in this Freeport. It started in 2010 and aims to promote camaraderie and unity among locators and the workforce.

    This year’s sportsfest was highlighted by the Miss CUG 2019 competition.

    Bea Theresa Maynigo, representing the Clark Development Corp. (CDC), won the title as Miss CUG 2019 winning a month of cabin crew training from Omni Airline Training Academy.

    Vanessa Pineda of Yokohama and Jolina Balagtas from SIA EP won first and second runner up respectively. All winners received corresponding cash prizes.

    The opening ceremony was hosted by Joyce Manansala from SIA EP and Robin Flores from CDC.

    Among the companies that joined the CUG for this year are: CDC, Amerton Incorporated, Clark Electric Distribution Corp., L&T International Group Philippines Inc., Molex Philippines, Royce Hotel and Casino, SAT – A, SIA Engineering Philippines Inc., SMK Electronics Philippines Corp., Twist Resources, UET International, Wallem, Widus Hotel and Casino and Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc.

     CHRC is the primary venue for communication, coordination and cooperation among labor, human resources and industrial relations practices in this freeport.
