GMA STAR Lovi Poe is playing beautiful music together with an English guy named Monty Blencowe.
“I met him in L.A. He’s a scientist, he’s a medical scientist.”
They were introduced by a common friend. Is Monty her boyfriend?
“Basta special iyon.”
Before she took a five-month vacation in the States Lovi have met Monty.
“Matagal na. I don’t know, since I was there.”
Monty is the guy with Lovi during her days in Disneyland in Los Angeles and in Royal Ascot.
Now that Lovi is back in the country how is their relationship?
“Nag-visit din naman siya dito.”
Would she consider that a long distance kind of relationship?
“Yeah. I believe it’s possible. It’s something that I’ve seen some of my friends go through.”
Is there an arrangement on who will visit who?
“Yes, sometimes parang ganun. I think everything naman boils down to communication and compromise.”
Does she think Monty is the right one?
“Oh my God. Well you know, when you get into something naman, you always pray that things work out. You never want things to turn out to be negative, you know.”
Is this for long term plans?
“I can’t use the word long-term but it’s just that, I think I speak for everyone when I say that people don’t enter something not wanting it to be the right thing or the right person.”
Does Monty knows that she’s an actress here in the Philippines?
“Ngayon alam na niya! Hahaha!”
Lovi has a cameo role in the latest drama series of Bea Binene Gabbi Garcia and Yasmien Kurdi titled “Beautiful Justice”.
“Yeah, kaya sabi ko, ‘Paano kayang acting ang gagawin ko?’ Natuwa ako kasi parang, ‘Ay, at least naisip naman nila ako dito for this.’
“It’s nakakakilig, nakaka-flatter because it’s like, siyempre all these beautiful women, Gabbi, Bea and Yasmien. So it’s just like, just to be, like to do a cameo here, talaga namang nakakatuwa.”
“As Lovi Poe pa,” she narrates.

15 YEARS after the group was first launched, ABS-CBN’s all-male dance group Anime had a mini-reunion.
Members present during the reunion were (L-R, right frame) Emman Abeleda, John Wayne Sace, Rayver Cruz, Rodjun Cruz, and Sergio Garcia.
The defunct dance group had a mini-reunion with five of its seven members last week. Brothers Rayver and Rodjun Cruz, who are now both with GMA-7, posted photos and videos on their Instagram accounts last Thursday, September 18.
Members John Wayne Sace, Sergio Garcia, and Emman Abeleda, who are now inactive in showbiz, were also present at the reunion.
Former FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano actor Mhyco Aquino and GMA-7 actor Mico Aytona were not able to make it to the reunion.
Rodjun wrote on his Instagram post, “Anime Reunion! Miss namin kayo Mhyco & Mico. Next time complete na tayo. Brothers for Life”
Rayver posted a video showcasing the dance moves of the group, 15 years after they were first launched by ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
Rayver wrote in the caption, “Reunion last night with the brothers so we just decided to hit it haha kayang kaya pa!!!! Nxt time kumpleto na tayo”
Rodjun also posted the same video on Instagram and wrote in the caption, “’The Anime’ @rayvercruz @sacejohnwayne @sergiogarciaxx #Emmanabeleda Mismo parin kahit biglaang sayaw tayo kagabi. Walang Kupas! Kakamiss. Love you brothers”
John Wayne and Sergio also posted photos of the reunion on their Instagram accounts.
Anime was an all-male dance group launched in 2004 by ABS-CBN and its talent arm, Star Magic.
They regularly performed in the Sunday variety program, ASAP, and later, in its supplementary youth-oriented version, ASAP Fanatic.
In 2007, the group went separate ways, especially when ABS-CBN started grooming Rayver and John Wayne as leading men.
Years later, Rayver and Rodjun were the only ones who remained active in show business.
Both have now transferred to GMA-7, where they first started their careers.
Rodjun transferred in 2013, and Rayver followed in 2018.
Mhyco, Mico, and John Wayne would do occasional TV guest appearances in ABS-CBN and GMA-7 shows.
In 2017, when Rayver was still a Kapamilya, some members of Anime were able to reunite on the ASAP stage for the 25th anniversary of Star Magic.
Mico, Mhyco, Sergio, and John Wayne were present during the celebration.
