CLARK FREEPORT – The Fontana Leisure Parks celebrated its Grand Mid-Autumn Moon Festival on Friday at the Golden Pavilion here.
Different activities like beer drinking and moon cake eating contests set the cordial vibe under the full moon as the night of red Chinese lanterns progressed with guests along with their families and friends, Chinese and Filipino, partying all night long.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival, is one of the biggest holiday celebrations for Chinese and other East Asian nations.
Dating back all the way from ancient Chinese culture and folklore, the Chinese pay tribute to celebrate the full moon and good harvest in the middle of the autumnal season.
The JCFC Dance Troupe jumpstarted the night with their pumpedup performance as the band got the music playing and kept the night going.
DJ Thomas Ricafort dished out his mixed sounds and set the night to party.
A selection of free-flowing wine poured out from bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Demi-sec paired with Fontana’s well-catered buffet service that gave the already indulging and sumptuous dinner a supplemental touch of lavishness and luxury.
Cocktails over an open bar were also offered bottomless during the after dinner as well as choices of grilled food and side dishes to match the drinks that completed the grand festival.
