ANGELES CITY- The city government here has ordered the closure of five bars along Fields Avenue here for operating without permits.
Temporarily closed were Sky Trax Super Club, Phillies Sports Grill, Flaming Bar, Kurula, and Roadhouse.
Closure orders were issued by city hall after personnel from various government agencies based here conducted operations to examine permits of business establishments and clear sidewalks.
City hall has reported that illegal structures in front of the Wild Orchid Hotel were also demolished, while makeshift stalls of ambulant vendors were dismantled and their goods confiscated.
Several plant boxes at the Penthouse Hotel were also confiscated to clear the sidewalk, it said.
