More than 500 running enthusiasts participated in the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office’s “SAFRUN” (Disaster Preparedness Run) Year 6 on July 21, 2019 at Heroes Hall and CSF downtown streets.
In line with the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month, the event awarded cash prizes to the top finishers, and certificates and Information, Education & Communication (IEC) campaign materials to the participants.
SAFRUN Year 6 top finishers were Jessa Mae Jaromay and Allan Avisado for 3k female and male categories, respectively; Lovely Cordovilla and Norbert Cailao for 5k female and male categories, respectively; and, Emmalyn Taypin and Junel Gobotia for 10k female and male categories, respectively.
