ANGELES CITY – Seldom do we enjoy the best of both worlds when it comes to fine dining. It only happens at the Eatalia Italian restaurant at The Courtyard in Barangay Balibago, here.

Handled by a Manchester, UK-educated chef, Eatalia offers a variety of sumptuous Italian cuisine whose prices are truly affordable.

“We make food which will make our customer really satisfied and happy – nothing less than that,” said chef Sherwin Yturralde, who finished his hospitality management and chef courses at the Xaverian College in Manchester.

Yturralde, who worked for Le Petit Blanc owned by world-famous chef Raymond Blanc, said their ingredients are “genuine” and imported from Italy.

Businessman Dwight Morales, who co-owns Eatalia with Yturallde, said they prepare the meals only when all the necessary ingredients are present.

“We put premium on quality as we agreed,” said Morales, who was joined by his wife Sheila, his father Mabalacat Mayor Boking Morales and mother Clark Development Corp. (CDC) Director Mina Paras at the restaurant’s blessing last February 25.

Mediamen were asked to order food from the menu. They were served with spaghetti with meal balls and chef de partie.

No less than NUJP-President (Pampanga chapter) Ashley Manabat enjoyed the food and vowed to come back not as a journalist but one of the customers.

He said he was impressed by the “excellent taste of the food at a very affordable price.”
