ANGELES CITY – First impressions last.

This was the consensus of guests at the opening of the Bonnie’s Barbeque Grill at the Bayanihan Park here on Friday night.

They were impressed by the taste of the pork barbeque and other recipes at Bonnie’s which started its operation in 1996. Their first branch was in their native Tarlac province.

“Our food is superbly delicious and not too expensive,” said Myra Soliman who helped her sister, Bonnie, put up their business.

The Soliman sisters said they had humble beginnings, opening their business with only P500 capital.

The Soliman sisters said it was difficult when they started their business. They added that it was their father who encouraged them to continue their food business.

In their first few weeks as businesswomen, they had only one major customer – their father. Seeing that most of her barbeque has been sold out at the end of the day, their father would give them much-needed boost by buying all the remaining barbeques to serve to his friends.

Because of the delicious free barbeques courtesy of their father, Bonnie’s started to become popular.

Today, there are four Bonnie’s oulets – Tarlac, Pampanga, Quezon City and Pasig City.

And many other branches are expected to open soon.

Myra disclosed that they are open for franchise. For a franchise fee of P50,000, entrepreneurs are assured of their return of investments from two to six months.

Why just stay at home? Bring your relatives, friends and peers to Bonnie’s where the food straight from the grill can bring laughter.
