CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Provincial Government of Pampanga distributed recently a total of P2.6 million to at least 4, 627 college scholars.
Vice-Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda together with the provincial board members personally gave away the checks to the beneficiaries during the financial distribution held at Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center, here.
Pineda congratulated the graduating scholars for their achievements and cited their hard work in aiming for a successful future.
He also underlined the numerous programs of the provincial government adding that health and education have been its major priority.
“Dito sa Pampanga, tayo ang may pinakamagandang health program sa buong Pilipinas,” Pineda said.
He also stressed the annual financial assistance for education given to deserving students in the province to help them continue their studies.
“Commitment ko sa inyo ang education,” the vice governor added.
Also present during the distribution are board members Rosve Henson, Dinan Labung, Jun Canlas and Nelson Calara with the assistance of the Provincial Treasurer’s Office (PTO) staff .
