CABANATUAN CITY – Two suspected pushers of illegal drugs were killed while 15 sachets of shabu were seized from them in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Arcadia this city at shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday.
Police also recovered an AUV and a tricycle used by the suspects identified as Francis Faustino, 39, of Barangay Tagpos, Sta. Rosa, Nueva Ecija, and a certain Toper.
Supt. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief, said forensic investigators also recovered a .45 pistol and a .38 revolver reportedly used by the suspects in initiating the gunfight, and two P500 marked bills.
The buy-bust operation was hatched based on information the suspects were involved in illegal drugs trade, police said.
