ABUCAY, Bataan — Provincial board member Dexter Dominguez aka Teri Onor on Thursday afternoon led in the distribution of relief goods donated by Vice President Leni Robredo to victims of flood here as he appealed for more assistance for his hometown.

The television comedian said Robredo gave 2,500 packs of relief goods for 2,500 families in the villages of Gabon, Salian, Omboy, Wawa, Calaylayan, Mabatang, Laon and Capitangan.

He appealed to his friends for there are still many who have to be assisted.

He knocked on the heart of officials of private companies.

Teri said his town last July 22, 2018 was ravaged by deep flood brought by heavy rainfall caused by Josie that was worsened by habagat.

Water rose to almost 11 feet in some villages and the whole town suffered power outage.

Mga kasangkapan nakakalat sa daan,” he said.

Teri said they placed the entire province under the state of calamity but the destruction was so massive that he has to act for his hometown.

He said he sought the help of his friends in the Senate like Senator Manny Pacquiao, organizations, showbiz friends like Judy Ann Santos and comedians who will be sending relief goods.

The vice president immediately responded to my request although we belong to diff erent political parties, Teri said.

He said the calamity has shown the bayanihan spirit of Filipinos. “Nakakaantig ng puso. Ang magkakapitbahay, nagtulungan,” Teri said.
