CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents arrested in Bulacan last Friday two persons believed to be supplying injectable and other drugs known to stimulate sexual urges for parties organized for orgies for gay clients.
A report from the PDEA based here said its agents seized assorted party drugs including an injectable liquid shabu known as “Taiwanese ice” worth a total of P100,000 in a drug sting in Meycauayan, Bulacan at about noontime last Friday.
In the report sent to PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, PDEA regional director Gil Pabilona identifi ed the suspects as Gerardo Panfilo Domingo Jr, 29, of Flexihomes, Rosario, Pasig and Edcel Canete, 20, of Lifehomes Bayabas St., Barangay Napico Mangahan, Pasig.
Pabilona said that the suspects are members of a group which is responsible in the proliferation of party drugs in colleges and universities in Metro Manila and major cities and towns in Luzon and that they transact their trade mostly via social media.
“The modus of the group is to invite students and teenagers to try the party drugs and entice their patrons, especially males, to perform orgy since most of their clients are homosexuals,“ the report said.
Pabilona said “these party drugs, especially the injectable liquid shabu or Taiwanese Ice have sex stimulant components which trigger extreme sexual arousal. This is very alarming and the public, particularly the parents should be mindful of the harmful effects of these party drugs.”
PDEA said that aside from three bottles of assorted party drugs, syringes and assorted drug paraphernalia, the drug sting operation also yielded 16 pieces of medium sized sachets of shabu and eight sachets of marijuana, with estimated street value of P100,000.
The suspects were detained at the PDEA jail in Camp Olivas here and were charged yesterday for selling and possession of dangerous drugs.
