LUBAO, Pampanga—At least 2,000 mothers and their children in this town received their Christmas treats on Sunday in a party hosted by the daughters of Mayor Mylyn Pineda- Cayabyab.
Dubbed “Pamaskong handog ni Annyka Channel at Andrea Celine Pineda Cayabyab”, the event held at the Pineda Sports Complex in Barangay San Nicolas I here.
The annual party is the Cayabyab siblings’ Christmas gift to less-fortunate children and their mothers. The beneficiaries were grouped into tow batches to avoid overcrowding in the gym.
The families had their fill of magic shows, food, fun games and gifts in the Sunday event. Mascots of a prominent fast food chain performed to the delight of the crowd.
