CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – At least 200 employers in the province recently attended the three-day InDepth Seminar of the Social Security System (SSS).
The seminar featured discussions on sickness, maternity, disability and employees’ compensation benefits among others, according to SSS Branch Manager Corita Gaduang.
There were also updates on social security programs and services including Loan Restructuring Program which gives concerned members to clean up their overdue loan principal and interest, Personal Equity and Savings Option Fund or the voluntary provident fund for local members; and the enhanced SSS website which was created for the ease and convenience of members, she added.
An open forum that addressed the questions of employers on posting of contributions and loan repayments, use of online facilities, and benefi t enhancements was also conducted, Gaduang said.
