CLARK FREEPORT – Looking for a monstrous meal for the whole family or the barkada?

Well, look no more as Park Inn Hotel at the SM City Clark compound introduces its “Super-Sized Meal.”

Zeny Alcantara, Park Inn GM, said the Super-Sized Meal comes in two choices, Kapampangan or Bistro, which are both good for the entire family or a barkada of five to six persons.

Chef Marianne Mendoza said the Kapampangan Super-Sized Meal comes with a healthy serving of paco (fern) salad, buro (fermented rice with fish) with steamed vegetables served with fried hito, sisig, kare-kare, rice and even a generous platter of mixed fruits for dessert.

Mendoza said the Bistro Super- Sized Meal starts with mushroom soup and green salad with four condiments and one dressing of either vinaigrette or cream based for starters.

Then follows the Park Inn original appetizer chili fries which is actually French fries mixed with chili-con carne on top, cheese pimiento and cheddar cheese. On the side, burger sliders with homemade patties.

The main course is baby back ribs cooked for six hours and topped with homemade barbeque sauce, and roasted herb chicken with homemade gravy.

Mendoza said Hues Restaurant only serves roasted chicken upon reservation or at least one hour before dining.

“This is because we brine it for a day and we roast it for an hour,” she said.

“If its walk-in, we serve Southern Fried Chicken,” Mendoza said.

There is also a choice of either pasta or rice, and to cap it all is a platter of mixed-fruits for dessert, she said.

The Super-Sized Meal costs P2,499 only which is already good for five to six persons, said F&B Manager Persy Gamboa.

It is available daily for lunch or dinner at the hotel’s Hues Restaurant.

“Just ask our food attendants about it,” he said.
