CLARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT – A one-stop-shop for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) is now being built here and coordinated to serve thousands of OFWs using this airport.

According to Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) President-CEO Emigdio “Dino” Tanjuatco III, the center is set to open next month in conjunction with the projected additional airline passengers coming from Emirates Airlines which will resume its operations in this airport starting March 30.

“Ongoing pa coordination with provincial government for one-stop-shop for OFWs,” Tanjuatco said in a text message.

He said the target is April but it depends on the approvals of government agencies like the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA), and the Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration (OWWA).”

Meanwhile, the joint onestop processing center of the OWWA and the POEA here has made it easy for vacationing OFWs to process their POEA Balik Manggagawa Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and renewal of OWWA memberships. The processing center is open from 9 am to 6 pm, including holidays.
