2nd Clark Golf Cup set at Sun Valley Country Club

    CLARK FREEPORT – The 2nd Clark Golf Cup will blast off on March 27 in the challenging members’ course of the Clark Sun Valley Country Club located at the mountainous northwest end of this freeport.

    Some 100 players will compete in the invitational golf tournament where the “Shotgun format” will be enforced following the “System 36” scoring and handicapping method.

    Now on its second year, the golf tournament is organized by the Capampangan in Media Inc. (CAMI) in cooperation with the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) and Donggwang Clark Corp.

    Players will be given free use of golf carts and caddie services, plus other prizes and give-aways.

    Setting the pace in the ceremonial tee-off will be San Miguel top honcho Ramon S. Ang, SMC Vice President Jane Llanes, Senator Bongbong Marcos, Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Siegfed B. Mison, CDC President-CEO Arthur Tugade and Dongwang Chair Lee Shin Kun.

    Major prizes at stake include a Hyundai car for the Holein- One and plane tickets among others.

    Carlito Cernal of Catandem is the official coordinator of the tournament.

    In March 2014, a total of 112 players joined the 1st Clark Golf Cup at the Mimosa Golf & Country Club.
