Lee is also set to meet President Benigno Aquino III before travelling to Thailand.

Lee, who established the “Shinchonji Church of Jesus,” is a well-known leader of  South Korean peace activists.

A day before the peace seminar in Laguna, Lee spoke to members of the media in a press conference at the Manila Hotel. He said world peace could be achieved by encouraging world leaders and heads of other religious organizations to sign an international law based on the Bible.

Lee said he met with presidents and other world leaders and religious groups in advocating world peace who all said that they all want peace and made a promise to work for peace together.

Lee, who was accompanied and assisted by the members of his religious organization, said his mission is to end war and all hostilities around the world. Lee particularly mobilizes the youth as instruments in achieving world peace and enjoins world leaders to obey the teachings of the Bible.

“If there is war, it’s not the politicians that fight these war but the youth,” Lee, speaking through an interpreter, said.

Lee said the unification of the two Koreas is foremost since North Koreans also want peace especially the young adults.
