Si Janice ay ex-wife ni John Estrada at si Priscilla ang current niya. Magkasama sila ngayon sa serye ng Dos at ang maganda, sa presscon, they have good words for each other.
“I feel so blessed that I get the chance to work with such a fine actress,” sabi ni Priscilla. “I’m so thankful to the Lord, to ABS-CBN and to the whole of cast of ‘Be My Lady’ for trusting me for this kind of job at ang tapang nila to pair me with Ms. Janice in my first teleserye. I don’t think that I could be happier because Ms. Janice is very professional. She’s Ms. Janice de Belen, so while we’re doing our scenes, you know, I was observing her as this was my on-the-spot workshop and I was very happy, amazed and amused with the way she acts and the way she delivers her job and her lines. The very first time that we met on the set, she was very courteous.
And she’s really good. I don’t think that’s she wouldn’t have that kind of title if she’s not that talented.”
Janice felt overwhelmed by Priscilla’s praises for her. “Ninerbiyos naman ako sa mga sinabi mo, Priscilla. Anong sasabihin ko ngayon? I cannot top that,” she laughs. “I just want to make it clear na never po kami naging magkaaway. When Direk Ruel Bayani asked me if it’s okay to work with her, sabi ko, of course, walang problema. First time naming maging magkaeksena, parang lahat naghihintay kung magsasapakan ba kami o mag-aaway pero sorry, wala pong ganun. Wala namang reason for us to be enemies. What I did is I made sure she felt comfortable kasi first time niya. Sa story, she’s a Brazilian working in Singapore at ako ang nakuha niyang Filipina DH from Pampanga to take care of her house and her son. Dahil sa anak niya, na nilagyan ng alahas ang bag ko sa isang department store, naakusahan akong shoplifter at pina-deport ako sa Pilipinas.”
