MARIVELES, Bataan — A delegation from South Korea-based Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF) visited the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) on October 21, 2026, to learn about its operations, investment opportunities, and governance practices.

Led by ACCMGF President Weon Deokho, the delegation was accompanied by Kang Jang-won, chairman of the Philippine Organizing Committee for the UN International Anti-Corruption Day Commemoration (ADCOC-P).

During the visit, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) presented the zone’s strategic location, major industries, and investment opportunities, highlighting its practices in promoting transparency and good governance.

Kang has also been involved in Bataan’s development initiatives. He recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bataan Public-Private Partnership and Investment Center (PPPIC) and the International Digital Assets Council (IDAC) to encourage corporate investments and consortiums for infrastructure projects in the province.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange insights on governance and explore potential areas of cooperation in investment and development. (30)
