The Local Government of Mabalacat will finally have its new municipal hall courtesy of Globe Asiatique’s Delfin Lee, the real estate developer who gave hope to homeless Kapampangans.
Today, Lee and Mabalacat Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales will break ground for the P30 million Mabalacat Municipal Hal in Barangay Tabun where some 7,500 units of Xevera Mabalacat will be built. This will be the second time that Lee has donated a municipal hall, the first one in Bacolor town where a similar structure was donated to the Local Government of Bacolor in Barangay Calibutbut, site of the first Xevera project.
Lee has done something that no other real estate developers had done – that was giving all the amenities of a perfect community with a school, public market, a municipal hall, a recreation area, church and so on. Other real estate projects in Mabalacat like Hausland’s turns pale in comparison to the projects of Lee. That’s because Lee had been silently addressing the problem of homelessness in his own way – by humanizing the issue and making it less harsh for the thousands of homeless families.
Perhaps we can say that the Xevera units are not spacious but Lee has offered a permanent solution to the issue of homelessness, giving all what it takes to make a perfect community. Says Lee: “Ang problema sa mga ibang developer hindi nila ibinibigay ang lahat.”
Morales is all smiles that Lee has decided to locate the second Xevera project in Mabalacat town. It is but proper that Lee changed his mind at the last minute to bring the second project in Barangay Tabun, the area could be directly linked to the Clark Freeport Zone and will serve as the new gateway to the North where Barangay Dau once had a monopoly.
Barangay Tabun and Barangay Dolores including Atlu-Bola are being geared to accommodate Mabalacat’s Cenral Business District (CBD) where prospective foreign and local investors could operate their businesses. At least 3,000 hectares had been earmarked for the much-vaunted CBD.
Morales had been planning to transfer the Municipal Hall in the area in the past but lack of funds was hindering the plan. Enter Lee who fell like a manna from the high heavens and suddenly the first-class town will soon have a new Municipal Hall with a panoramic view at that. Did any of those real estate developers in Mabalacat commit themselves to do the same in the past? I bet no because they are only concern on their projects and earnings, right?
Not Lee, he has not even start the housing project but immediately embarked with the construction of the Mabalacat Municipal Hall. For the thousands of Clark workers who are dreaming of owning their own houses now is the time to invest in Xevera Mabalacat because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it may never come your way again in your lifetime. Furthermore, a bypass will linked Xevera Mabalacat to the Clark Freeport Zone.
