From a humble meriendahan to a refreshed Filipino dining destination, Lola Nor’s proves that honoring your roots is always in good taste.
After a year-long pause, Lola Nor’s is back, and it is serving up a delicious new chapter that brings Kapampangan pride, Filipino comfort food, and community craftsmanship to the table.

Founded in 2002 as a humble meriendahan in Mabalacat City, Lola Nor’s has grown through the years without losing sight of what makes it special: familiar flavors, well-loved recipes, and the warmth of home. Now, in 2026, the restaurant welcomes diners to its new home at Top G Building along Fil-Am Friendship Highway in Angeles City.
Under the leadership of co-owners Elsa Jocson Yabut, Edgar Jocson Torres, and Carlo Yabut, the refreshed Lola Nor’s embraces a more elevated dining experience while keeping its classics close to heart.
Step inside and discover a cave-inspired interior rooted from the athletic bouldering hobby, where wooden textures, lush plants, and moody lighting create a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere. The furniture, meanwhile, tells a story beyond aesthetics. Sourced from Betiseño artisans, it reflects the owners’ commitment to supporting local craftsmanship, while their use of produce from lowland farmers helps bring the community into every dining experience.

The star of this comeback is Saludo, a playful yet meaningful celebration of Filipino culinary heritage. Imagine the comforting goodness of menudo, asado, mechado, and adobo, bringing together the beloved flavors of Filipino cooking in one memorable dish. Paired with kamote sourced from lowland farmers, it is a delicious reminder that great food begins with the people who grow and create it.
And while Lola Nor’s is embracing a broader Filipino identity, its Kapampangan soul remains unmistakable.
The iconic okoy continues to deliver that familiar crunch, while the crowd-favorite putong babi brings its signature savory goodness to the table. There is also bulanglang babi or bangus for those craving comforting, home-style flavors.
For diners looking to explore beyond the usual favorites, Lola Nor’s offers cansi, tortang ema, and adobong ema, alongside Kapampangan budin and a simple, embutido-style dish that keeps things delightfully unpretentious.
The menu is a delicious bridge between Kapampangan heritage and the wider Filipino food story, proving that local flavors can evolve without losing their identity.

Expect pistachio kataifi sansrival for a contemporary twist on a beloved classic, alongside fruit salad, buko, and biko for those who appreciate the comforting sweetness of traditional gatherings.

Adding to the festive spirit is puto lason, a welcome nod to the flavors and traditions that make Filipino celebrations extra special.
And for those who want to toast to the comeback, keep an eye out for Lola Nor’s cocktails, which promise another exciting addition to its refreshed dining experience.
One year away gave Lola Nor’s time to pause, rethink, and reintroduce itself. But the comeback is not about leaving the past behind. It is about taking everything worth keeping and giving it room to grow.
From its beginnings as a meriendahan in Mabalacat to its new home in Angeles City, Lola Nor’s serves up a timely reminder that the best kind of reinvention honors the people, flavors, and stories that brought you here in the first place.
So come hungry, bring your favorite people, and discover a Lola Nor’s that feels both refreshingly new and wonderfully familiar.
Because when Kapampangan pride meets Filipino comfort, every meal becomes a reason to ‘saludo’.
