CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – One of the police’s top three most wanted carnappers nationwide was arrested the other night in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
The PNP Highway Patrol Group (HPG) identifi ed the suspect as Emmanuel Barroga of Barangay Callos in Penaranda, Nueva Ecija.
“He is listed as No. 1 in the list of HPG’s most wanted in Central Luzon, and No. 3 most wanted nationwide for carnapping,” the HPG said in a report.
The report said Barroga was arrested by a combined team from the HPG, Bulacan police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and the Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force who had a warrant for his arrest issued by the regional trial court in Bulacan.
Barroga was detained at the HPG Headquarters in Bulacan but is expected to post bail amounting to P180,000.
