IBA, Zambales – Two high-value drug suspects were arrested and P970,156 worth of shabu was confiscated in a buy-bust operation of the Zambales Police Provincial Office before dawn of July 23 at Purok 6, Barangay Bangantalinga here.
Arrested by operatives of the provincial police drug enforcement and intelligence units were a male resident of Barangay Taugtog, Botolan, Zambales, and a female resident of Barangay Matain, Subic, Zambales.
Recovered from the suspects were four plastic sachets of shabu with a combined weight of 142.67 grams valued at a standard drug price of P970,156.
Along with the confiscated evidence, the suspects are now in custody of Iba Municipal Police Station while charges are being prepared against them for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
