Wilfredo Tan, president- CEO of the company, led the launching in Barangay Balon Anito here. Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia and Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion joined Tan in the house blessing and other activities.
“The program will give affordable housing to low-income earners of the province,” Tan said.
He said that with the help of Pag-IBIG Fund, all units were made very affordable with monthly amortization for as low as P2,080.
“The program was made possible through the collaboration of the provincial government of Bataan, municipal government of Mariveles and Fiesta Communities, Inc. in answer to the increasing demand of low-cost and socialized housing in the province,” Tan said.
Garcia, Concepcion and Tan signed the Abot-Kayang Pabahay discount voucher that will provide assistance to beneficiaries who will reserve the chosen house units.
Concepcion, a lawyer, said the housing project is a dream-come true for the municipality that is short of housing facilities for its growing population.
The town is home to the Freeport Area of Bataan that has 128 multi-national companies in operation with 37,455 workers in its employ as of December 31, 2017.
Balon Anito is about three kilometers from FAB, the former Bataan Export Processing Zone-turned Bataan Economic Zone.
“There is a great demand for housing in Mariveles and we are thankful that Fiesta Communities chose to locate its project here,” Garcia and Concepcion said.
The project of Fiesta Communities in Mariveles is the second in the province after Limay. It is the 17th in North and Central Luzon.
