On June 6, Chez Suzette Philippines hosted an immersive and intimate media night in preparation to its official grande ouverture on June 12 at barn house row here, bringing timeless French cuisine, fine wines, and warm hospitality to Pampanga.

Founded by Kapampangan restaurateur Suzette Simon-Tingaud and her husband Jonathan Tingaud—both alumni of the legendary Joël Robuchon restaurant—Chez Suzette combines Michelin-inspired expertise with the comfort of home.

From escargots and côte de boeuf to the signature Crêpes Suzette, every dish reflects the brasserie’s commitment to authentic French flavors served in a welcoming, elegant setting.

More than a restaurant, Chez Suzette is a celebration of community, culture, and coming home, chez precisely.


My Chez Suzette experience
What was there not to love, especially if you fancy the idea of feasting on authentic Fresh dishes? The choices of entrées froides: Gravlax de Saumon (delicately cured salmon prepared in the traditional Nordic-French style) is fresh, silky, and elegant. Pâté en croûte (classic French meat pâté baked in a flaky pastry crust Bresse chicken liver, pork, pistachio, cognac, Madeira and Port)


The best selection is entrées chaude: Gougéres (golden choux pastry infused with aged comté cheese). Escargot de Bourgogne (Burgundy snails baked with aromatic garlic herb butter) is irresistibly savoury.

Of the main course offerings, I love the Côte de bœuf (prime rib grilled cooked for deep beef flavor, red wine sauce, grilled corn, broccoli).

And this Bouillabase, a traditional Provençal seafood stew infused with aromatic herbs and saffron flavors, is top favorite.

To cap the meal, sweet platter was served to us – profiteroles (classic French choux pastries filled with cream and finished with chocolate sauce) and crêpe Suzette (delicate French crêpes flambéed with orange butter sauce and Grand Marnier liqueur).
