Cebu City, Philippines — NUSTAR Resort Cebu continues to strengthen its commitment to environmental sustainability through a successful tree-planting activity held last May 16, 2026, in Camp 4, Barangay Manipis, Talisay City.
This initiative forms part of NUSTAR Resort Cebu’s long-term Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and sustainability commitment to plant 100,000 trees by 2028, an ongoing effort aimed at supporting reforestation and helping build a greener, more resilient Cebu for future generations.

The activity was conducted in partnership with the CAMMITA Farmers Association, whose members provided invaluable assistance and local expertise throughout the event. Fifty employees from NUSTAR Resort Cebu volunteered for the initiative, gathering early in the day to support the cause and demonstrate their shared commitment to protecting and preserving the environment. As part of NUSTAR Resort Cebu’s ongoing sustainability efforts, the tree-planting activity will continue to be conducted on a monthly basis.
