HERMOSA, Bataan- Police on Tuesday recovered two cadavers, one an unidentified woman and the other a fisherman, in separate places in Bataan.
At 8 in the morning, the bloated body of a still unidentified woman was discovered in a pond in the middle of a riceland in Barangay Palihan here while the cadaver of a fisherman was found at dawn in Manila Bay in Limay, Bataan.
The naked body of the woman was seen lying flat on her stomach floating on the water some meters away from the bridge.
“Nakadapa sa tubig ang bangkay at patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon sa pagkakakilanlan at dahilan ng pagkamatay ng babae,” said PO1 John Louie Bulatao of the Hermosa police.
Police recovered the body of Alex Llaneta, 42, fisherman from barangay Saint Francis II, Limay. Llaneta reportedly fell from his banca while fishing and was reported missing since Saturday.
