BALANGA City- The provincial office of the Department of Trade and Industry on Wednesday opened its threeday “Maagang Pamasko Diskwento Caravan” at the Plaza Mayor de Balanga with the theme “Presyong Panalo sa Mamimiling Bataeno”.
“We see to it that all participating traders give a minimum discount of 10 percent on all goods,” said Eloisa Malibiran, DTI division chief in-charge of the caravan. She said that the discounted sale will go on until Friday. DTI conducts the “Diskwento Caravan” twice a year, usually before the opening of classes and before Christmas.
On sale under DTI blue tents are various cookies and delicacies, canned goods, salted eggs, wood curving, bags, clothes for adults and children and doormats. There are also vegetables like tomatoes, eggplants, ampalaya and even camote.
As in every fair, present are spicy bagoong in bottles, dried dilis and the much-sought smoked and dried fish. The products are either produced or raised from 11 towns and a city in Bataan.
