LUBAO, Pampanga – It’s all systems go, Mayor Esmie Pineda declared of the municipality’s signature festival of sight – hot air balloon painting the sky in vibrant colors, and sounds – OPM icons jikamarie, Illest Morena, Hev Abi, Flow G, Arthur Nery, December Avenue, Dionela, Maki, IV of Spades, Kamikazee, Parokya ni Edgar, Rico Blanco, and Bamboo, that is the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival 2026 slated at Pradera Verde here March 7 and 8.
A record 45 balloons – 18 regular size, eight special shape, and 19 mini balloons – will take to the blue yonder, for that serene, even magical, ascent that – looking from the ground is nothing short of spectacular. In the evening, magical maximizes with the ethereal night glow.
Other activities at the festival include ultralight flights, helicopter ride, fireworks display, and an outdoor petting zoo for kids.
Ticket prices are at P1,500 for VIP and P500 for General Admission per day. Special discounts are offered for two-day tickets and PWDs. Gate opens at 4 A.M.
