The province of Pampanga celebrates another golden moment as Gabrielle Galapia of Magalang rises as Second Princess of Miss World Philippines 2026.

At just 22, Gabrielle, fondly known as Jiji, is more than a beauty queen. She is a musician, songwriter, multimedia artist, host, model, and tarot reader whose journey has been deeply personal and profoundly creative. For her, art was never an accessory. It was a lifeline.

“Art saved me,” she shared.

In her darkest moments, music became both refuge and release. Through songwriting, she learned how to heal aloud, transforming pain into melodies that remind others they are not alone. Healing, as she believes, can sound beautiful.

Her creativity extends beyond music. Whether on stage, on screen, or in quiet one on one moments of reflection through tarot, Galapia embraces storytelling in all its forms. Each role she takes on is rooted in purpose, expression, and connection.

Behind her rise is a lineage of strong Filipinas. Inspired by her mother, her tita, and her lola, Gabrielle grew up surrounded by women who taught her to be brave, to be driven, and to be as much as she can be. Their strength echoes in her own resolve, now amplified on the national stage.

This year marked Gabrielle’s first time competing nationally, a milestone that makes her win even more meaningful. Already a celebrated queen in Pampanga, she stepped onto the Miss World Philippines stage not just representing Magalang, but carrying the dreams of a province proud of its own.

From Pampanga to the world, Gabrielle Galapia’s story is one of art as survival, purpose as compass, and dreams finally finding their light.

And by her own words, she is just getting started.
