CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) — The Pag-IBIG Fund Cabanatuan Branch recorded an overall outstanding performance in 2025 and is set to expand its housing, loan, and membership programs across Nueva Ecija and Aurora in 2026.

The branch achieved a 99 percent membership accomplishment last year, covering 118,002 members from the government sector, private companies, overseas Filipino workers, and other working groups.

Pag-IBIG Fund Cabanatuan Branch Head Reynante Pasaraba said members’ savings collections from regular savings, MP2, and Modified Pag-IBIG Savings reached P1.34 billion, or 94 percent of the annual target.

He shared that short-term loans also posted outstanding results, with 103 percent borrower accomplishment and 104 percent loan amount accomplishment, while fresh loans to 8,304 first-time borrowers totaled P168.12 million, exceeding targets by 264 percent in borrower count and 240 percent in loan amount.

Pasaraba added that loan processing efficiency exceeded standards, with multipurpose loans processed in an average of 1.6 days and claims such as retirement, maturity, and insurance benefits processed in an average of 6.258 days.

“We processed 18,634 multipurpose loans with an average processing time of 1.6 days, equivalent to a 96.52 percent efficiency rating, while 6,145 claims were processed within the prescribed seven- to 20-working-day period, averaging 6.258 days, for a 99.98 percent efficiency rating, both classified as outstanding,” Pasaraba

He noted that the branch’s achievements were driven by sustained employer engagement, marketing deployments, field operations, and close coordination with partner employers and stakeholders.

Pasaraba said the branch will intensify employer and LGU visits, expand Lingkod Pag-IBIG on Wheels deployments, and continue Loyalty Card Plus distribution, with mobile services scheduled in San Jose City on February 9–10, Gapan City on February 11–12, and Cabiao on February 13.

He highlighted that membership coverage will be widened to include job order workers, graduating students, barangay officials, transport groups, market vendors, and other self-employed individuals, while information campaigns on MP2 savings, Modified Pag-IBIG Savings upgrades, and mandatory contributions for both employees and employers will be strengthened.

“We will coordinate with state universities and colleges to engage students through career forums, expand membership coverage to barangay officials, transport groups, market and ambulant vendors, and other workers earning at least P1,000 a month, and strengthen awareness on short-term loans, MP2 savings, Modified Pag-IBIG Savings upgrades, regular savings, and mandatory contributions to support the continued growth of the Pag-IBIG Fund and extend its services to workers from all walks of life,” he emphasized.

These initiatives aim to bring Pag-IBIG services closer to communities while supporting inclusive membership growth and improved access to loans, claims, and MP2 savings across Nueva Ecija and Aurora. (CLJD/MCAL, PIA Region 3–Nueva Ecija)
