CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Culture, creativity, color took center stage during the Mutya ning Kapampangan 2025: Local Costume Competition, held at the Kingsborough International Convention Center on Nov. 29.

Intricately designed local costumes inspired by Kapampangan heritage, customs, even myths, dazzled the audience as each candidate presented unique creations that reflected the rich history, traditions, and identity of their respective towns. Every ensemble served as a living artwork and a testament to the exceptional talent, craftsmanship, and creativity of Kapampangans.

On behalf of Gov, Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, Mutya ning Kapampangan 2025 chairperson board member Dr. Kaye Naguit expressed full support for cultural development of the province through the leadership of the Arts, Culture & Tourism Office of Pampanga.

“We are gathered here not only to witness beauty and grace but also to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Pampanga through the creativity and talents of our young mutyas. This activity is a showcase of tradition, cultures and pure creativity,” she said.

Arayat clinched the Best in Local Costume, with Mexico as 1st Runner-up, Sasmuan as 2nd Runner-up, Magalang as 3rd Runner-up, and the City of San Fernando as 4th Runner-up.
