DIPACULAO, Aurora – One of the hardest-hit areas of recent Super Typhoon Uwan welcomed on Nov. 17 Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc. (YTPI) relief efforts through its corporate social responsibility program.
The company’s public relations and community service relations team led by Geraldine Bautista, department manager of corporate planning and business operations, and Eden Canlas-Mago, section manager of public relations and general services, along with employee-volunteers and representatives from the town’s public employment service office personally distributed relief goods to 17 families of YTPI employees residing in Aurora province.

Each family received grocery packs containing essential items, with Bautista reassuring them that their loved ones working at YTPI are safe, supported, and in good condition.
Beyond caring for its workforce, YTPI also extended assistance to the greater community reaching over 200 families in Barangay Puangi. Each household received five kilograms of rice, a gesture warmly welcomed by barangay chairman Lilia Estonilo, who expressed gratitude for YTPI’s timely support as many residents continue to recover and rebuild their livelihoods.

Mayor Danilo Tolentino, along with municipal social welfare and development officer Rowena Asan, and PESO manager Julie-Ann Taronga, also conveyed their appreciation for the company’s efforts in personally reaching out to the employees’ families and extending help to the wider Dipaculao community.

Through its continued commitment to community welfare, YTPI reaffirms its dedication not only to its employees but also to the communities they belong to.
