CLARK FREEPORT – It’s all systems going A-OK with utility services here as of Nov. 10, in the immediate aftermath of Typhoon Uwan.
In a report to Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, the agency’s vice president for engineering services group Engr. Teresito Tiotuyco said deep wells are in good running condition, all reservoirs are within target levels, and no complaints have been recorded across the water network. This, confirmed by Clark Water, the sole water and wastewater service provider in the freeport.


Power restoration efforts led by Clark Electric Distribution Corp. have reached 99.13% completion, with 1,596 out of 1,610 affected customers reconnected to grid supply as of 3 p.m. Restoration for the remaining 14 customers is ongoing, with damage assessment and repair work continuing on the ground.
Telecommunications providers SMART, PLDT, and Globe have deployed teams to survey and address downed cable lines. Restoration is ongoing in affected areas. As of 2:50 p.m., PLDT reported 95% operational status, while Globe’s cell site at the Air Force compound remains down due to ongoing clearing operations.
Other providers including Converge ICT Solutions Inc., DITO Telecommunity Corp., Eastern, Infinivan, Ignite, and Philcom have reported full functionality.
