CLARK FREEPORT – Clark’s food and service sector continues to grow as two companies signed lease agreements with the Clark Development Corp. on Oct. 27, showing strong investor confidence in the freeport’s development.

Corner Line Foods Corp. (CLFC), a Chowking franchisee, and Nutri-Exchange Food Corp., the team behind Sari-Sari Modern Kitchen, sealed their contracts during a ceremony at the CDC Visitors Center.

CDC president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera emphasized the mutual trust behind the agreements.

“This is more than just a contract. It’s an expression of trust,” Atty. Devanadera said. “We trust you to help develop Clark, and you trust us to support you.”

CLFC transitioned from a sublease to a direct locator. Its president, Alfredo Nicdao, called the move a vote of confidence. The branch will be located at Bayanihan Center, along M.A. Roxas Highway, Clark Freeport Zone.

“Bilib na bilib sila sa nangyayari sa Clark. That’s why we’re building more stores here,” Nicdao said.

Nutri-Exchange president Catherine Tayag introduced Sari-Sari Modern Kitchen as a new concept set to open in Clark. Her family helped develop the restaurant, which will offer a modern take on the traditional “sari-sari” store. The menu will feature comfort food, regional specialties, and international dishes at affordable prices.

Tayag said the restaurant, located along M.A. Roxas Highway at the former Binulo site, aims to serve office workers, families, and groups seeking quality meals in a stylish yet accessible setting.

“We’ve seen a very favorable investment climate in Clark. We commend CDC for the growth and development, especially over the past five years,” Tayag said.
