HERMOSA, Bataan – Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. (NMPI) on Friday inaugurated its first major auto dealership center here under the Laus Auto Group.

It is located only some meters away from the exit point in barangay Palihan of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway.

NMPI President and Chief Operating Officer Allen Chen said that the Laus Auto Group (LAG) becomes the 20th dealer of Nissan in the country. He said Nissan ranks No. 6 in auto dealership in the Philippines.

Nissan is one of the top five companies that scored above the total industry average and one of only two car manufacturers that improved its rating this year. It ranked fourth in customer satisfaction in terms of delivery process, according to a refutable study.

Levy Laus, LAG President and CEO, said they chose Bataan “because of the warmth of its people and of its bright business prospect being recognized as one of the progressive investment destinations.”

He said that the site is located at the center of the country’s growth triad corridor that includes the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority and Metro Manila.

“LAG is one of the biggest auto dealerships in the country and the opening of Nissan-Bataan marks an important milestone for NMPI marking its 28 anniversary this month,” Chen said.

Laus signed the dealership contract with Elizabeth Lee, Universal Motors Corp. CEO. Hermosa Mayor Danilo Malana and Gila Garcia, representative of Gov. Enrique Garcia, attended the inauguration.

Nissan Bataan is equipped with a total of eight workbays that include six workbays with three 2-post lifters, a 4-post lifter and one car wash bay, Laus said.
