CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Provincial Government of Pampanga, at the initiative of Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, has once again extended financial assistance to 629 child development workers (CDWs) across the province through the distribution of their four-month provincial subsidy.

Each CDW received ₱12,000, reflecting the provincial government’s continuous commitment to recognize and support the invaluable contributions of daycare teachers and early childhood educators in nurturing young Kapampangans.

The subsidies were personally awarded by the governor, together with board members Cherry Manalo, Christian Halili, Atty. Claire Lim, Dr. Kaye Naguit, and Dr. Benjamin Angeles.

Governor Pineda noted that the financial support aims to ease the economic burden of CDWs and motivate them to continue delivering dedicated and compassionate service to children in their respective communities.

She also encouraged them to take care of their own well-being as they fulfill their vital role in early childhood education.

Aside from the monetary assistance, the CDWs also received food packs from the Capitol as an added form of support for their daily needs.

This initiative reaffirms the Pampanga Provincial Government’s steadfast commitment to uplifting the welfare of CDWs and strengthening the province’s early childhood care and development programs. Pampanga PIO/Photos: Daniel Ombina
