BALANGA CITY, BATAAN — The Provincial Government of Bataan, in partnership with SM City Bataan proudly launches Tuklas Bataan – The Bataan Tourism Expo from October 9 to 11, 2025, at The Event Center, SM City Bataan.

The first-ever staging of the Bataan tourism expo in SM City Bataan brings together government agencies, schools, private stakeholders, and community partners in a three-day celebration of Bataan’s diverse attractions, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage. With its central location and modern facilities, SM City Bataan serves as the ideal venue to welcome everyone eager to experience the province’s best.

Visitors can look forward to inspiring exhibits, interactive booths, and cultural performances that highlight the creativity, resilience, and pride of the Bataeño community. The expo also features educational sessions and networking opportunities designed to encourage collaboration and innovation in tourism promotion.
“As the first of its kind in Bataan, it’s incredibly inspiring to witness each town’s efforts in showcasing their rich cultural heritage—truly a milestone worth celebrating,” Said Mr. Richard Daenos PhD, Director of Dept. Of Tourism Region 3.
Hosting Tuklas Bataan underscores SM’s commitment to supporting local tourism and community development. Beyond providing venues for events, SM Supermalls actively promotes regional culture, arts, and heritage by offering platforms that engage both locals and tourists.

“We are honored that Tuklas Bataan is being held here — the very first time this expo comes to SM. SM and the Bataan Tourism Office share the same goal: to bring happiness, to deliver fun and memorable experiences to everyone,” Said Ms. Marbie Kaneko, Assistant Mall Manager of SM City Bataan.
SM Supermalls is championing tourism and economic development in the Philippines by integrating shopping, dining, and events within its mall ecosystems, while expanding its network of hotels and convention centers to position the country as a premier destination for shopping and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
Through vibrant initiatives like regional food fairs that celebrate Filipino culture and cuisine, SM builds thriving communities and promotes sustainable growth. Furthering its commitment to inclusive progress, SM Supermalls launched the SM for MSMEs to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by offering affordable leasing opportunities across SM malls nationwide, opening new doors for aspiring entrepreneurs.
