CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A Pampanga board member accused of large scale estafa has filed a complaint against four media outlets based in the province for alleged violation of the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Shiwen Lim, also known as Estelito P. Lim, lodged the complaint with the National Privacy Commission against Punto! Central Luzon, SunStar-Pampanga, CLTV-36, and iOrbit News Online last September.
Lim alleged in his complaint that the disclosure of his personal details indicated in his warrant of arrest that was published in media violated his privacy and “demonized” him in the public eye.

Punto! Central Luzon and the other media outlets are ordered to file a verified comment within 15 calendar days from receipt of their copies of NPC Case No. 25-156 signed on Sept. 16, 2025 by investigating officer Atty. Lorraine Anne G. Quibranza- Añonuevo.
