CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark leg of the National Milo Marathon surged with over 9,000 runners from all walks of life, including students, families, persons with disabilities, and influencers like Carla “Run with Carla” Navarro, who all raced across the 3K to 42K distances in a celebration of strength, stamina, and Filipino grit.
Held on August 3, under the banner of MILO® Philippines Active Pilipinas, this year’s marathon wasn’t just about speed, it was a movement.
Backed by 40 partner organizations offering free sports clinics, and supported by the Department of Education and nearby schools, the event highlighted Clark’s rise as a premier sports hub ideal for nationwide fitness campaigns.
“This year we want to be more intentional in discovering and uncovering ‘My Milo Story’ where we learn personal stories and journeys of participants who were influenced by our sports program,” said Milo Sports Head Carlo Sampan.
From inspiring first-time runners to long-time champions, the Clark race spotlighted how the marathon—since its inception in 1974—continues to mold lives through discipline, determination, and sportsmanship.
Beyond running, the event promoted nutrition, physical literacy, and holistic wellness across ages.
The Milo Marathon remains a race not just for medals, but for milestones, proving that in every Filipino is a story worth running for.
