West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is enhancing its HR processes through a collaborative initiative with delaware Philippines, focused on system assessment and roadmap development.
Quezon City, Philippines – July 20, 2025 – As part of its continuing efforts to improve internal systems and processes, West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. has partnered with delaware Philippines to assess its current Human Resource (HR) system and design a roadmap for future improvements.
The collaboration supports Maynilad’s initiative to streamline its HR operations and enhance employee experience by evaluating existing tools and identifying opportunities for refinement. This initiative also forms part of broader internal transformation efforts aimed at ensuring that corporate support functions remain responsive to evolving organizational needs.
According to Maynilad Head of Human Resources Martin B. De Guzman, the initiative is designed to ensure that the company’s HR platform remains reliable and responsive. “Our people are at the heart of our operations, and by refining internal processes, we aim to deliver better support to employees across the organization,” he said.
The project includes comprehensive review of HR areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce management. Using insights from the assessment, delaware Philippines will help design a roadmap that outlines potential enhancements, including timelines and implementation priorities. This collaboration ensures that Maynilad’s HR team is actively engaged throughout the process to ensure alignment with operational realities.
Maynilad Chief Information Officer and Head of Information Technology Services Francisco Castillo emphasized the importance of ensuring HR systems are structures to meet employee needs efficiently.
“We want to ensure that our platforms provide the necessary support for our employees, using current tools and approaches that are aligned with our operational context,” Castillo said.
The assessment will run for three months and includes consultations, evaluations, and workshops with key stakeholders. Partner and Managing Director of delaware Philippines Rosette Carrao noted that the joint effort is focused on delivering actionable recommendations grounded in the company’s actual system usage and needs.
“This engagement is designed to provide Maynilad with a practical and structured view of how to evolve its HR systems in the coming years,” Carrao shared.
At the end of the assessment, Maynilad will receive a roadmap identifying priority areas for improvement. The aim is to strengthen internal processes that support employee services and administrative efficiency.
Senior Vice President for Customer Success of delaware Philippines Simone Pigason highlighted the long-term value of the collaboration.
“This initiative reflects Maynilad’s proactive approach to keeping its systems responsive and adaptable, with a strong focus on employee support,” Pigason said.
With this project, Maynilad continues to enhance internal capabilities to ensure that its HR functions remain aligned with its evolving organizational priorities.
