CABANATUAN CITY – Police have launched a manhunt operation against two unidentified men who reportedly shot two homosexual men inside a public cemetery in Barangay San Fernando Sur, Cabiao, Nueva Ecija shortly after midnight Saturday.
PO2 Crisolo Caguiat, case investigator, said victims Oliver Rabacca, 22, and Dennis Bautista, 25, both residents of Barangay San Gregorio, Cabiao are still recuperating from gunshot wounds at a local hospital.
Investigation showed the suspects and the victims met somewhere in the village and “they proceeded to the said place of occurrence (Cabiao Public Cemetery) and for unknown reason the suspects shot the victims.”
Caguiat said the suspects whose identities have yet to be established used a short firearm.
A follow up investigation is being conducted, police said.
