PORAC, Pampanga — EcoProtect Management Corp. (EPMC), the operator of a landfill facility in Barangay Mancatian here, has been cleared of environmental and sanitation complaints raised by residents earlier this month.
“This is to certify that ‘Land Fill Eco Protect’ located at Barangay Mancatian, has fully complied (sic) with the complaints raise (sic) by the resident (sic) of Barangay Mancatian…” read the letter dated June 16, 2025 signed by barangay chairman Edilberto Layug addressed to acting Porac Mayor Francis Laurence Tamayo.
Layug noted that upon verification and inspection conducted by the barangay, it was found that the facility had “taken the necessary action” addressing the environmental and sanitation concerns raised by the residents.
“The Barangay Council of Mancatian acknowledge (sic) the efforts of the said entity [EPMC] in resolving the matter in good faith and in accordance with the standard set by the Barangay,” ended the letter. Punto News Team
