ZARAGOZA, Nueva Ecija – Four neophyte policemen found themselves in trouble for allegedly holding the hands of restaurant employees in Barangay Sto. Rosario Young here Sunday.
Facing administrative charges for misconduct were PO2 Michael Pineda and PO1 Alexander Ordonio, both of the local police station; PO1 Marvic Pasion and PO1 Robert Patrick Jan Tuquero, of the Regional Public Safety Battalion Central Luzon who are presently assigned as augmentation in here.
Eva Escosa, 48, owner of a restaurant in the village, told police that the policemen who were believed to be drunk arrived and caused fear among her employees at around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Four female restaurant staff – aged 18 to 19 years – they approached readily sensed the suspects were under the influence of liquor and kept their distance, police said.
“They got afraid of the four police officers because they tried to hold their hands while they were talking to them,” probers said.
They cops are placed under restricted status at the police station here pending follow up investigation.
